Happy Easter and Spring! On behalf of the Board of Directors we would like to wish you and your family a Blessed Easter!
This will be my last President’s Message, I would like to thank you all for your support during my two year term as your President. I’m so proud of what we’ve accomplished together in the past two years of my Presidency. We had some obstacles but managed to plow through them and made it successful. Why? “EOPO – We’re Stronger Together.” I am so excited to hand over the gavel to Chelsea Glezen as your new President. I know she will continue our success during her two year term.
Communication continues to be a crucial aspect of our organization.
- Nominations and Elections – We are in need of directors and committee members ASAP. If you’re interested in one of the following positions please contact Teri Hedrick at thedrick@osconline.org . The incoming President can’t be successful at her position without a great team to help her.
- Vice President, Director
- Treasurer, Director
- Membership, Director
- Awards & Scholarship, Committee
- Sunshine, Committee

- Awards and Scholarship
- The committee received several applications for the Lila M. Van Sweringen scholarship. The scholarship was awarded to Ella Predina. Please see Ella bio in this newsletter. The Board will be sending NAEOP Ella’s application in hope she will win their scholarship.
- EOPO received a check from South Central Educational Office Professionals of Ohio, an affiliate of EOPO in the amount of $2000. These funds will be applied to future scholarships.
- Fall Conference 2025 – With the resignation of our Vice President, we are in need of volunteers to help with the planning of our 2025 conference. The more volunteers we have the less an individual will have to work. The conference will be held in Columbus on Friday, October 3, 2025. If you’re interested in serving on the committee please contact Chelsea Glezen at glezenc@mtc.edu .
Enjoy your Easter, Palm Sunday, Spring Break and Summer Break. Let’s continue to work together, learn from one another, and support each other as we strive for excellence. Because “EOPO – We’re Stronger Together.” |
